Use of the Classifieds portion of the SinoTESOL website constitutes agreement to the following terms and conditions:

"SinoTESOL Classifieds" is defined here as the subsite of sinotesol.org and comprises all pages in the /classifieds directory of the sinotesol.org website.

Post submissions. Submissions will either automatically appear after submission is made or appear upon approval. Posts may be edited or deleted for any of the following reasons: 1) Profanity or offensive language; 2) Personal attacks; 3) Content bearing no relevance to TESOL; 4) Content soliciting or reflecting associations with illegal or questionable activity; or 5) any other reason which does not conform to the standards of SinoTESOL. Approval is solely at the discretion of SinoTESOL. Posts normally appear for a period of 21 days, but may be shortened or extended at the discretion of SinoTESOL.

Nondiscriminatory practice for employers and agents. Following the Linguist List, SinoTESOL "strongly encourages employers to use non-discriminatory standards in hiring policy. In particular we urge that employers do not discriminate on the grounds of race, ethnicity, nationality, age, religion, gender, or sexual orientation." Posts which contain discriminatory language or reflect discriminatory practices may be removed at the discretion of SinoTESOL.

Language Check. For schools, jobseekers, and others submitting posts, we strongly advise that your post be free of grammatical or spelling errors. Language schools which recruit using poorly written text are typically not held in high regard by the teaching community.

Picture submissions. Pictures uploaded for submission are restricted to images which: 1) are directly relevant to the post; 2) are less than or equal to 25 kilobytes; 3) are less than or equal to 200 pixels in width and 150 pixels in height; and 4) do not contain nudity. SinoTESOL reserves the right to delete any pictures which exceed the above restrictions or do not conform to organization and site standards.

Liability. SinoTESOL assumes zero liability from any consequences resulting from a post submission, post view, post reply, or any events subsequent to submission, view, or reply. The user understands that SinoTESOL has no control over the behavior of parties who submit, view, or reply to a post. SinoTESOL shall bear no responsibility for any loss, financial or otherwise, incurred by any party who submits, views, replies, or is mentioned in, a post.

The above terms and conditions may be amended at any time without notice. SinoTESOL Classifieds is a free service intended for the TESOL community.
